Internal Link
An internal link is a link leading to a page within the same website. By using the browsing tool, you ensure the link is dynamically updated if the page is moved or its URL changes.
Best Practice
Do
- You should use the browsing tool to select the page that the link will lead to.
- Link path will be: "/content/sites..."
Don't
- For internal links, you should not paste a static link, as it will not be dynamically updated if the page is moved or its URL changes.
- Link path will be: "https://www.domain.se"
Configuration in AEM
- Insert a link text in the main content area that you want to be displayed.
- Mark the text.
- Click on the Hyperlink button to attach the URL to it by browsing to the desired page in the site structure.
- To navigate to a page, click the "Open selection dialog" button located to the right of the path field.
