An anchor link is a hyperlink that directs users to a specific section within the same webpage. It allows for easy navigation by jumping directly to the targeted content. The Rich Text Editor is used to create anchor links.
Configuration in AEM
It is feasible to include an anchor link within an Expandable panel. The panel will expand when an anchor link is added to a component inside it.
To begin, place your cursor at the desired location within the text (RTE), preferably at the beginning. Follow these steps:
- Click on the anchor icon
- Enter a brief, content-appropriate name and click apply
- Publish or rollout the page
